Camelot's Kitchen department is currently hiring
full-time & part-time junior chefs for the 2023 season. Co-operative education and/or culinary students welcome to apply.

As a Cook at Camelot, you must understand that you directly influence the Member's impression of the club, and as a result you hold high standards of food preparation and presentation.


Must have own transportation, as public transportation does not service our location

Hiring Criteria:

  • Responsible and reliable
  • Presentable, with quality work effort
  • Must be capable of handling pressure at peak service times
  • Service and Memberfocused attitude
  • Strong communication skills bilingualism an asset
  • A strong team member, who communicates well with supervisors and colleagues
  • Must be available to work a variety of scheduled shifts (ie. nights, weekends and holidays)
  • Tasks include (but are not limited to):_
  • Prepare for all food production
  • Prepare and properly present Legend Grill and formal Great Hall menu items during service
  • Communicate appropriately with serving staff to facilitate high quality, timely service to Members and their guests
  • Maintain proper food rotation of all line items
  • Monitor food par levels and replenish as required
  • Communicate with other cooks, supervisors and management
  • Active participation in Camelot's health & safety program
  • Maintain a positive, orderly and clean appearance in and around their workspace

Part-time hours: 10-44 per week


Salary:
$17.00-$22.00 per hour
