In your role, you will:
- Conduct onsite supplier assessments to review supplier performance with a focus on quality control & assurance aspects.
- Quality Control processes: Evaluation of supplier's quality control processes and procedures to ensure product meets the requirements and industry standards.
- Yield Performance: Review supplier yield performance, costs due to poor quality including inspection costs, rework % and scrap %
- Quality management systems/ tools: Review of tools/ systems used to log quality/ nonconformance issues and finalize product dispositions.
- Identify gaps & improvement opportunities for supplier's quality management processes to ensure adherence to item specifications, enabling better supplier performance.
- Assist team in preparing supplier assessment reports / scorecards outlining risks/ issues/ mitigation steps from a quality perspective.
- Prepare and maintain a log of manufacturing related supplier risks and agreed on corrective/ improvement actions.
- Collaborate with appropriate team members to track and resolve recurring supplier issues/ risks.
- You have more than 7 years of experience in either quality management/ control or product/ process engineering in an Industrial mfg. environment, Bachelor's degree or equivalent work exp.
- You hold working knowledge and understanding of quality systems, standards and procedures relevant to industrial manufacturing.
- You have excellent relationship management skills, strong business acumen, and demonstrated ability to link capability assessment outcomes to Business Objectives
- You have strong Data analysis/ synthesis and problemsolving skills to consolidate assessment observations, identify mfg. risks and outline improvement actions
- 70% travel requirements
