Marketing & Social Media Assistant

Note:
This is an IN-PERSON position located in Port Elgin, Ontario. We are seeking an individual to join our team AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. Please consider if this is feasible for you prior to applying.

To join our team, you must:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Excel working independently and as part of a team
  • Have a strong work ethic and a desire to be successful
  • Be able to take on lastminute and miscellaneous tasks in a timely manner throughout your workday
  • 2+ years experience in digital marketing, social media, and/or graphic design
  • Experience building and growing brands on social media
  • Experience in writing is an asset
  • Encompass great organization skills and the ability to complete tasks while following a schedule
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Perform followup to ensure materials are accurate, clear, concise & errorfree

Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Assist in the development and implementation of marketing plans and campaigns.
  • Assist our marketing manager in creating a marketing strategy that will promote and publicize the company.
  • Assist in the development of social media strategies & management of the company's social media presence across various platforms (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, etc).
  • Create social posts for Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and Tiktok for the team
  • Complete various copywriting for various online marketing avenues like webpages and social media
  • Assist in the creation of content for the website, social media, newsletter, etc.
  • Assist in organizing team events within the community.
  • Discover and contact different advertising outlets for the team.
  • Take on lastminute and miscellaneous tasks throughout your work day.

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Pay:
$18.00-$24.00 per hour

Education:


  • Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

Experience:


  • Marketing: 2 years (preferred)
