Position Overview

The Manager, Advisor Marketing oversees advisor marketing services and initiatives including the management of the marketing account manager team and customized marketing solutions.

At Richardson Wealth the advisor is our client and this role is instrumental in enhancing the advisor experience with marketing.

In addition, the Manager, Advisor Marketing helps to ensure that all marketing materials follow brand standards, regulatory requirements and internal guidelines.

Responsibilities:

Lead the advisor marketing services team in supporting the firm's advisor teams marketing needs across the country. Coaching and supporting the team to successfully deliver impactful collateral, approvals and other needs in a timely manner
Management of account marketing services including customized marketing materials development and execution. This includes ensuring the receipt of requests, coordinating design and copy writing with internal and external resources as well as the multipronged signoff process.
Track and monitor projects and outreach using a CRM and help provide VP, Marketing with a quarterly analysis of marketing metrics and share findings with team to aid in streamlining best practices and improved efficiencies
Manage specific marketing vendors and contractual designers and writers that support advisor marketing services
Manage marketing compliance requirements for advisors. Work with Wealth Compliance Advisors and Branch Management to assure timeliness of approvals and change management of requirements as needed
Maintains accurate records of quotes, budget, and branch compliance and marketing signoffs for customized Marketing, including all supporting documentation and various design files
Approve, tracks and liaises with the finance department on an ongoing basis regarding all Marketing department expenditures, vendor invoices and chargebacks to advisors
Some travel may be required

Qualifications:

7+ years in a senior marketing role working with advisors or in the finance sector, ideally wealth management
Understands the power of team and is able to work well with employees across the firm
Ability to work with leadership team, communicate effectively and present to a group as needed
Ability to think strategically combined with excellent attention to detail and strong analytical and organizational skills
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Experienced leader with proven ability to juggle multiple projects in an energetic, fastpaced environment
Resourceful selfstarter with ability to jump in and ramp up quickly
Client focused and resultsoriented
Bilingual in English and French would be an asset

Education

College or university required
Marketing or creative discipline diploma preferred
CSI certification an asset
