Position Overview
The Network Administrator is responsible for managing and maintaining all IT/IS operations.


Aligned with Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) best practices, this ITIL certified professional, will administer, manage and monitor ITIL services and processes for the IT/IS department to provision quality services to its business partners.

In an effort to continuously improve IT process, the incumbent will monitor IT services, CI and take actions when required to assure a high level of quality and performance to the organization and to its clients.

Education and experience

  • College or University diploma in Computer Sciences, Systems or Network administration
  • ITIL certification
  • Five (5) years working experience in medium to large organization System and Network Administration (i.e. maintaining and supporting corporate infrastructures)
  • Experience in diagnosing network architecture issues and making recommendations and improvements
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem solving abilities;
  • Ability to learn and research new technologies;
  • Ability to work effectively as a team member;
  • Excellent project management skills;
  • Strong written and oral communication skills;
  • Strong interpersonal skills;
  • Proven analytical and problemsolving abilities.
  • Proven experience supporting and maintaining existing technology, system infrastructure and desktop configuration;
  • Strong understanding of system backup and restoration procedures;
  • Proven experience supporting and maintaining networking typologies and standards;
  • Knowledge in managing security systems using best practices;
  • Keen attention to detail;
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a highpressure environment;
  • Strong customer service orientation;
  • Ability to present ideas in userfriendly language;
  • Driver's License. Valid in Ontario
  • Bilinguism (English and French)

As a pre-condition of employment:


All new HGH employees will be required to obtain and provide a satisfactory Police Records Check dated within six (6) months from the date of issue.
