Description

Peace Wapiti Public School Division (PWPSD) provides service to approximately 5,900 students in Junior Kindergarten through Grade 12 in 34 schools and is one of the largest employers in the Grande Prairie/Spirit River region.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent

Educational Assistant Diploma is preferred

CPR/First Aid would be considered an asset

Experience working with children in a classroom/organized setting is preferred

You have the ability and willingness to provide communication support as well as perform required physical tasks including personal care.

You have the ability to meet outside of school hours.

You have the ability to work as part of a team.

This position requires communication support and personal care.

Terms and conditions of employment are outlined in Policy GGG: Personnel Policy for Non-Teaching Staff. Salary is commensurate with education and experience. The salary range for this position is $19.10/hour to $25.14/hour.
