We are currently looking for a
Project Management Coordinator to work in one of our Calgary, A.B. office
_.

_This position supports the business functions for a group of world-class consulting engineers and scientists whose work focuses on geotechnical engineering services.

This position will perform project management support activities related to initiating, tracking, and closing projects, as well as providing assistance with invoicing, change management, and other administrative tasks.


Responsibilities:


  • Project initiation and tracking using our inhouse Oraclebased system.
  • Proving cost and schedule tracking services to support our project managers (collecting and displaying relevant data to support decisions and recommendations).
  • Confirming that quality and project management policies are being applied to projects.
  • Facilitating file management and organization for projects, including financial approvals and changelogs.
  • Project closeout support, in tandem with the Finance Team.
  • Maintaining good working relationships with Administrative Team.
  • Completing other administrative tasks as assigned by Manager and Team Lead.

Qualifications:


  • Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline. Postsecondary certification in a project managementrelated program may also be considered.
  • Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint) with a focus on Excel. Experience with MS Project would be considered an asset.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Selfmotivated with strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated strong work ethic and commitment to safety.
  • Creative problem solver who works in a professional and ethical manner.
  • Experience in a consulting environment would be considered an asset.
  • Experience working with SharePoint or other document management software, as well as within an Oraclebased environment, would be considered an asset.
