Children's Centre Thunder Bay works together with families, caregivers and a community of partners to make a real difference in the quality of life of children and youth.
We are an accredited, not-for-profit organization providing treatment and support services for children and youth, from birth to 18 years, who are experiencing behavioural, emotional, developmental or social difficulties.
The Centre is currently seeking to fill the following positions:(One) Part Time Housekeeper
Union Position - Part-Time
Varied hours of work, including evenings and weekends, up to 17.5 hours a week
Hourly:
$17.02 -$20.71 an hour
Responsibilities:
The Housekeeper is responsible to perform all housekeeping duties in accordance with Centre standards, and ensure that all work areas are prepared for the following work day.
Qualifications:
The Housekeeper must have a high school diploma and a good working knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act including aspects relating to WHMIS.
The Housekeeper must be able to lift moderately heavy objects, and have the physical strength to perform repetitive tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, cleaning, etc.
The Housekeeper is required to work evenings and weekends with mínimal supervision. A police records check and COVID 19 vaccinations are required.Tanya MacLeod, CHRL Manager, Human Resources
