Responsibilities:

This position reports to the Store Manager and is responsible for delivering equipment and ensuring the yard is kept orderly by completing the following:

  • Loading and unloading equipment deliveries
  • Performing pretrip inspections on equipment loads, while ensuring safety and roadworthiness prior to leaving the store with the load
  • Delivery of Large Agriculture equipment and Small Turf products
  • Manually handling heavy loads and weight handle up to 23kg (50 pounds)
  • Checking all loadrelated documentation to ensure that it is complete and accurate
  • Performing facility & yard maintenance
  • Organizing displays of equipment in the yard
  • Complying with applicable legislation including safe operation, carriage of goods, and occupational health and safety
  • This is a part time position working 23 days per week

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Valid A or A Restricted license (or the willingness to obtain) with a clear driving abstract
years of experience is preferred

  • Ability to operate a forklift, training will be provided
  • Experience with Agricultural machinery would be an asset
  • Ability to work with mínimal supervision
  • Flexible to work scheduled and extended hours as necessary
