AML Operations Officer - Vancouver

As a cross-functional process analyst, conduct research, analysis and reporting on a range of operational and service issues.
Execute on critical projects and strategic special initiatives within a defined functional area that may require broader partnership. Enhance management decision making on policies, processes, products and services based on insights generated from analytics and reporting to advance the operating model / processes and elevate service quality. Facilitate the implementation of policies/processes and/or initiatives to meet functional objectives. Execute more complex transactions accurately while adhering to established guidelines/procedures while adhering to formal or informal Service Level Agreement(s) (SLAs) Identify document investigate processes/exceptions arising from transactions/processes beyond first level operations service delivery Coordinate with partners on key initiatives may act as project lead/subject matter expert for small-scale projects/initiatives in accordance with project management methodologies Refer escalate processing operational issues as needed based solid understanding issue connecting appropriate function/partner facilitate resolution ensure that service quality maintained Identify opportunities improve existing business practices Participate fully member team support positive work environment promotes customer satisfaction quality innovation teamwork Ensure timely communication relevant information related day-to-day activities Contribute success team assisting others completion performance work activities provide training coaching guidance appropriate Maintain working relationships customers resolving customer issues articulating business practices respond customer queries Act brand ambassador Global Operations Business Services bank both internally externally Sound knowledge understanding operating environment business process procedures transaction lifecycle own area e.g processing environment applications software hardware products Ability execute standard non-standard processes requests low medium complexity moderate high-riskfinancial impact Identifies key operat...Job description
