Community Living St.

Catharines is seeking two (2) knowledgeable, experienced and motivated individuals to assist in all aspects of Human Resources, including direct involvement in recruitment, selection, onboarding process, training and development, attendance management, health and safety, and other HR related responsibilities.


Qualifications:


  • Minimum Requirement
  • Human Resource Management Diploma Program


  • One

  • Two years' experience working within an HR Department
  • Knowledge of theories, principles, methods, work practices, requirements for
  • Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training, and Skills Development
  • Occupational Health & Safety Act, Employment Standards Act, WSIB Act, other related legislation
  • Experience working in a unionized work environment is an asset
  • Knowledge/experience in coordinating the full recruitment cycle
  • Knowledge/experience in coordinating and case management for an Attendance Management program and developing accommodation plans for both occupational and nonoccupational Return to Work (RTW) programs
  • Knowledge/experience in researching, coordinating, developing, designing and facilitating all agency training requirements, Record management in HRIS system
  • Exceptional organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Experience in oral presentations, developing and conducting Onboarding Program to new hires
  • Experience using a learning management system (experience with Surge Learning an asset)
  • Proven ability to work as part of a team and independently
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office, Zoom, use of databases, and/or other related software programs
  • Valid driver's license and minimum of $1 million liability insurance (use of own vehicle is required)
  • Successful completion of a Vulnerable Police Check
Hours of Work: 35-40 hours per week, Monday - Friday,

Must be flexible to work evenings if required

Start Rate:
$27.00 per hour with
