Funnel Cake Express - Food Truck Operator
Established in 2005, Funnel Cake Express has been moving full speed ahead ever since.

Yet to have a dull moment, we have been travelling to Ribfests, Carnivals, Concerts and Corporate Events, attending events from 1,000 guests to over one million guests.

We have been serving thousands each year and Funnel Cake Express has grown to become a household name. We are known for serving the best funnel cakes in Ontario and take pride in our product.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee the daytoday operations on the food truck.
  • Drive and park truck at event locations
  • Set up and tear down at events.
  • Ensure team members follow proper sanitation procedures.
  • Preside over food truck employees, including cooks, food preparers, cashiers, and other employees.
  • Ensure safety standards are maintained while food is being cooked.
  • Prepare and serve the food to our guests.
  • Maintain and clean equipment including refrigerator, fryer, soft serve machine, prep table and cookware.
  • Ensure customer dining experience is satisfactory.
  • Cleaning of the truck.

Qualifications:


  • Valid G driver's license
  • Basic mechanical knowhow
  • Have driven a large food truck in the past
  • Must be able to work every weekend from May
  • September and during the week if there are events.
  • Must be able to work minimum 35+ hours a week
  • Cooking experience is a plus
