The Finance and Insurance Manager plays an integral role in the customer experience during the sales cycle.

They are viewed as the expert in offering financing options, vehicle protection products and personal coverage relating to the ownership of the vehicle.

They work as part of a sales team to deliver an exceptional customer experience that structures deals that will maximize profits while balancing customer satisfaction.

The position is responsible to ensure all legalities and paperwork for all vehicle purchases and exchanges are completed and ensure all communications between the sales person and the customer are complete prior to the delivery to the customer.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Offering vehicle financing and insurance to customers and providing them with a thorough explanation of aftermarket products and extended warranties and a complete explanation of manufacturer and dealership service procedures and policies.
  • Seeking new lending institutions and maintaining good working relationships to secure competitive interest rates and financing programs.
  • Processing financing and leasing deals accurately and securing approval through financial sources to secure approval and through the proper financing channels.
  • Understanding and complying with federal, state and local regulations that affect the new and usedvehicle and finance departments.
  • Creating and maintaining a program with the sales department that will ensure all new sales are referred to the F&I department.
  • Training and providing the sales team with information on finance and lease programs and the benefits of the dealership's financing and extended service programs.

Requirements:


  • Previous finance and insurance experience preferred experience in the automotive industry an asset
  • Dynamic self starter, detail focused, extremely well organized with excellent time management skills
  • A strong desire and ability to out perform goals and objectives
  • Personable, courteous and outgoing nature & strong work ethic
  • Exceptional customer service and satisfaction characteristics
  • Strong financial skills
  • Solid command of the English language and strong communication skills a second language beneficial
  • Good computer and typing skills
  • Broad understanding of automotive terminology
