Job Structure:
This is a full-time, permanent hybrid position.

Reports to:
Director of Finance Operations

Direct Reports: 2


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead the account receivables team.
  • Organizing and completing core daily, weekly, & period end tasks.
  • Reconciliation of cash receipts and program costs deductions to customer trade receivable balances and store batch and supporting documents.
  • Oversee validation of program cost deductions with relevant documentation and collaborate with internal sales, operations, and customer finance departments.
  • Supervise completion of periodend closing duties for account receivable subledger balances (monthly, yearend).
  • Create and maintain Standard Operating Practice documents & workflow diagrams for AR.
  • Establish an efficient collections system on trade receivables balances.
  • Create and maintain customer accounts in the ERP system.
  • Establish payment terms and credit limits per contracts and management instructions for each customer.
  • Execute a collections system to minimize open balances past due on payment terms.
  • Manage receivables insurance coverage portfolio.
  • Establish credit limits matching sales order volumes & forecasts.
  • Closely monitor customer financial info and credit score.
  • Define core objectives that will define implementation success.
  • Process improvement efficiency of workflow.
  • Improvement of deductions dispute recoveries.
  • Program costs management reporting needs.
  • Articulate and execute AR responsibilities for new customer onboarding and lead crossdepartment issues resolution with Sales, Operations, and IT.
  • Lead and liaison with multiple departments on crossfunctional strategic projects that contribute to organization goals.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Demonstrated leadership ability.
  • CPA designation is considered an asset.
  • Advanced Excel proficiency and analytical skills.
  • Financial and management reporting experience.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Previous Dynamics GP or similar ERP experience preferred.
