We are looking for an experienced Graphic Design Program Instructor to join our team


The main responsibilities of the Instructor will be to motivate the students, by creating a warm and engaging learning environment in the classroom The Instructor is also responsible for providing quality instruction and facilitating student learning according to the prescribed curriculum.


Responsibilities:


  • Delivering lectures that meet module and program objectives as set out in the curriculum
  • Evaluating student performance fairly and consistently
  • Contributing to the development of curriculum and instructional materials
  • Supporting the administrative functions of the campus to enhance the student experience
  • Participating in College and Program Activities

Qualifications

  • Postsecondary teaching experience, related to the programs we deliver, considered an asset
  • Degree from a recognized University or College in a relevant discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years of current, relevant, and demonstrated industry success
  • Membership with a recognized design association considered an asset
  • Relevant industry skills and knowledge relating to the area of instruction, including ongoing professional development and continuous improvement.
  • Online teaching experience and familiarity with teaching technology considered an asset
  • Ability to prepare, deliver and administer relevant and applied course material
  • Excellent communication and interaction skills, both oral and written
  • Excellent presentation skills and ability to deliver interactive and experiential classes

Job Types:
Part-time, Permanent

Part-time hours: 35 per week


Salary:
$35.00 per hour
