We are currently hiring committed individuals for a new program to support Racialized Canadian and Immigrant Women to develop their skills for employment in Canada.

As a Program Facilitator, you will support the creation of new course material and then deliver new and existing course material to our clients.

Through a project-based learning approach, you will work to support our clientele in overcoming employment barriers, develop essential skills for employment, and work with the Employer Liaison to connect them to targeted work practicum placements to build their experience towards a goal of permanent employment

As Employer Liaison

  • Research employers in different industries and available work positions in the Edmonton area;
  • Collaborate with Program Advisors to identify Client employment needs;
  • Reach out to potential employers and engage them with OSPs programs and how those programs can help support the employers' staffing needs;
  • Travel to and meet with employers/managers/HR representatives directly;
  • Maintain relationships with employers and develop meaningful relationships with key staff;
As Program Coordinator

  • Ensure program reporting requirements are met and reports completed and submitted;
  • Assess the needs of program and adjust the delivery and timelines as required;
  • Collaborate with Program Manager in developing program materials
  • Create and plan program schedule
  • Identify program gaps, areas for improvement, and areas the program is performing well in;
  • Provide program risk management and corrective measurements;
  • Supervise and support program staff, to ensure efficiency of program operation;
  • Mentor and train program staff.

Qualifications:


  • Have computer knowledge in MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook), Zoom and MS Teams.
  • Experience with leadership and leading a team.
  • Experience with Job Development and/or Career Advising an asset.
  • Experience and established connections within Edmonton's business community an asset.
  • Experience developing and/or managing a community program.
  • Clean driving record and access to a vehicle.

$52,000.00 per year
