Job Overview

We are seeking a talented and customer-focused Nail Technician to join our beauty team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for nail care and beauty services, providing exceptional treatments in a welcoming environment. This role involves performing manicures, pedicures, and other nail services while ensuring sanitation standards are maintained. The Nail Technician will also engage with clients to recommend products and services, contributing to a positive salon experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of nail services including manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art with precision and attention to detail
• Maintain strict sanitation and sterilization procedures for all tools and workstations
• Provide excellent customer service by understanding client needs and offering personalized recommendations
• Upsell retail products such as nail care items, lotions, and polishes to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue
• Assist clients with body waxing services when needed, ensuring comfort and professionalism
• Communicate effectively with clients to build rapport and ensure their expectations are met or exceeded
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with health regulations

Experience

• Previous experience as a Nail Technician or in a similar beauty service role is preferred but not required; training will be provided for specific techniques
• Knowledge of body waxing procedures is a plus
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
• Familiarity with sanitation standards in a salon environment
• Ability to upsell retail products effectively to enhance client satisfaction and sales goals
• Excellent nail care skills with attention to detail and creativity in nail art is desirable

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.15-$21.68 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
