Westpro Contract Services Ltd has an immediate opening for a
GENERAL LABOURER to join our team at our manufacturing plant in Puslinch, ON


Job Brief:

Westpro is seeking a dynamic and skilled individual for the role of General Labourer.

This position is ideal for someone with a mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn, adapt, and acquire new skills.

Responsibilities:


  • Perform general labour tasks such as cleaning up worksites, handling materials and equipment, and assisting other tradespeople onsite.
  • Prepare, operate, and maintain sandblasting equipment to remove dirt, paint, grease, and other materials from various surfaces.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety precautions and report any unsafe conditions or equipment issues.
  • Participate in additional tasks such as setting up scaffolding, operating power tools and machinery, and assisting with coating tasks as needed.

Requirements:


  • High school diploma; a mechanical degree or certification is an advantage.
  • Previous experience in sandblasting and painting is preferred.
  • Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy loads.
  • Good handeye coordination and manual dexterity.
  • Familiarity with power tools, heavy equipment, and machinery.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a commitment to safety rules.
  • Flexibility in schedule and adaptability to various tasks.
  • Proactive attitude with a focus on learning and professional development.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by Management

OTHER:


  • This is a FULL-TIME position.
  • Hours: 7:00 am 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday.
  • Location: 33 Kerr Crescent, Puslinch.
  • Reliable transportation is required.

Salary:
$20.00-$25.00 per hour

Experience:
