    Job Duties/Qualifications, Skills and Abilities(QSA)
    Job Duties Job Duties 1. Provide instruction in anatomy and physiology to students enrolled in a variety of post-secondary health programs.

    • Facilitate the development, implementation, revision, and maintenance of Anatomy curriculum under the direction of the Program Head.
    • Practice good interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
    • Plan and deliver content and learning activities that reflect the values, beliefs, needs, and contributions of a culturally diverse community.
    • Utilize LMS for in person, online, and blended course delivery.
    • Manage the classroom/lab/activities to ensure an optimal learning environment using an outcome-based approach.
    • Respond to and accommodate the special learning needs of students, including equity groups and diverse learners.
    • Use appropriate evaluation methods, record student progress, and provide feedback.
    • Make necessary curriculum adjustments to course content.
    • Follow academic regulations and policies adopted by Saskatchewan Polytechnic.
    • Work cooperatively with program heads and colleagues in an interdependent "team" environment.
    • Pursue professional development opportunities to keep current with industry and educational requirements.
    • Attend staff, program, and school meetings.
    QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND EXPERIENCE Specific Accountabilities Duties Required Qualifications, Skills and Abilities (QSA) 1.

    Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Anatomy & Physiology in addition to a Master's Degree in a related field.


    • Two years recent/relevant successful post-secondary teaching experience in applying the theories, practices and principles of adult education in the classroom/laboratory setting.
    • Effective communication skills (written and oral).
    • Effective interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
    • Effective instructional ability.
    • Ability to arrange, maintain, and evaluate resources.
    • Demonstrated competence and recent experience in the use of the internet, e-mail, MS Office Suite software and the ability to learn and adapt to changing technology.
    • Ability to function as a team member in an ever-changing environment.
    • Demonstrates valuing diversity. Desired QSA Required Competencies
