    Chief Financial Officer (CFO) - Technology

    About Our Client

    We are a leading technology-focused company dedicated to acquiring, managing, and growing businesses in software and solutions, intelligent industrial systems, and innovation and licensing.

    Our organization is well-established, stable, publicly traded, and headquartered in Canada. We are rapidly growing and seeking a new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to align our executive leadership capabilities with our successful strategy of aggressive long-term growth.

    Key Responsibilities

    The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of finance and business, with experience in strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, business analysis, and corporate growth strategies.

    Responsibilities include:

    1. Act as a key business partner to the CEO and operating teams, providing financial guidance and counsel on all matters related to the finance function.
    2. Provide hands-on leadership, guidance, mentorship, and performance management to the finance staff.
    3. Play a key role in M&A processes, supporting corporate staff with strategy, due diligence, transactions, and integrations.
    4. Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory reporting requirements.

    Preferred Qualifications

    We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled finance professional with:

    • A minimum of 10 years of senior financial management experience in technology or related industries.
    • Public company experience.
    • Strong business understanding and strategic thinking skills.
