Salary:
Competitive base salary + bonuses/commissions

Requirements:

Current OTL license or successful completion of Ontario OTL exam within past year
Sales experience preferred
Successful record of meeting sales goals/quotas
Proficient computer skills
Successful completion of all company requirements including licensing to market and service designated Desjardins products
Excellent communication skills written, verbal & listening
Excellent people skills
Proactiveness in problemsolving and conflict resolution
Dedication to quality customer service
Ability to pay attention to detail, multitask and meet job responsibilities in accurate and timely manner
Ability to present to potential customers
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Life license in good standing preferred

Responsibilities:

Identifying customer needs, developing leads, and scheduling appointments
Marketing of appropriate products and services including making telephone calls to generate new customers and additional business
Provision of prompt, accurate, friendly, and respectful customer service including responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions and billing clarification
Preparing forms, policies, endorsements, and other documents as required
Working with Agent and Office Manager to establish and meet marketing and sales goals
This position is with an independent contractor agent that is part of the Desjardins exclusive agent network, not with Desjardins Group or its subsidiaries. This agents' employees are not employees of Desjardins. Independent contractor agents are responsible for and make all employment decisions regarding their employees._

Salary:
From $40,000.00 per year
