Job Summary & Key Responsibilities

Legal Research and Writing; _currently scheduled for In-Person delivery, Fridays , in the Fall term (Sept-Dec The part-time academic's duties include responsibility for planning the course, teaching the class, coordinating guest speakers and/or library visits; evaluating the students, and administration relating to the class. The part-time academic must be available for consultation with students outside of class times. This position will report to the Coordinator of the Law, Justice & Society Program.


Qualifications/Requirements of Position

  • Training and/or experience in legal research, such as through a JD, LLM and/or a graduate degree in Legal Studies and/or Library Sciences; familiarity with legal databases and research archives and related resources. Ability to teach effectively at the university level.

Salary Range/Pay Rate

  • As per CUPE Collective Agreement
