Description

Coleman Construction is seeking a Project Coordinator to assist in coordinating & estimating projects in ICI, Agricultural, and Residential sectors ranging from $50'000 - $5'000'000.

Quantity takeoffs for estimates and material orders
Prepare and distribute tender invitations
Review tender submission
Read and interpret drawings, specifications and bid sheets
Preparing preliminary proposal drafts
Preparing tender submission packages
Preparing project document binders for project managers and superintendents
Preparing draft schedules for projects

- preparing monthly invoice logs for monthly invoicing

Prepare draft contract documents for project managers
Conduct Shop drawing reviews
Conduct site safety audits
Prepare subtrade contracts
Prepare and maintain safety records

Requirements:

Minimum 1 year construction experience in Canada
Intermediate knowledge and experience in Building Construction
Strong knowledge of computers, and programs such as MS office and blubeam
Able to read and thoroughly understand project drawings and specifications
Able to Communicate clearly with clients and management personal
Able to communicate clearly with subtrades
Able to demonstrate and enforce safe construction procedures
Able to work under pressure and long unusual hours when required
Must have valid driver's license and transportation
Able to work independently and in teams

Must be eligible to work in Canada

Assets:

Fully Bilingual (French & English)
Construction Field Experience
Surveying Experience
Experience working with project management software such as Procore or Buildertrend
Post Secondary education in a relevant program
Health and Safety training

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent

Pay:
$55,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
