Description

Brandt Truck Rigging & Trailers specializes in transportation equipment for the oil & gas, mining, pipeline, Rail, construction/infrastructure and environmental industries.

We are currently seeking Heavy Equipment Technicians for our Nisku, AB location for the evening shift 2pm to 12:30am. This position will be responsible for performing mechanical repair and maintenance of trucks and trailers.


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and determine the nature and extent of repairs required
  • Repair, replace and adjust mechanical components
  • Complete repairs on equipment, truck and trailer faults
  • Conduct CVIP inspections
  • Troubleshoot major and minor mechanical problems
  • Complete all necessary paperwork for Work Orders
  • Other mechanical repair work and duties as required
  • Perform all levels of preventive maintenance services

Required Skills:


  • Journeyman Certificate or Red Seal preferred
  • Completion of College/vocational technical training preferred
  • CVIP certification
  • Possess a valid driver's license
  • Ability to communication both verbally and written
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
