The Opportunity


As a member of the Global Compensation team the
Compensation Analyst will be responsible for providing analytical and professional level support in the implementation and administration of compensation programs which are aligned to the global total rewards strategy and corporate compensation philosophy.


You Are Great At

  • Act as a key resource in the administration of the annual & midyear focal review process with a specific focus on supporting the system, tools and resources.
  • Analyze and develop salary ranges ensuring market competitiveness through benchmark analysis.
  • Participate in global salary surveys, identifying market best practices and compensation trends.
  • Support the job evaluation process working closely with the business and HR partners.
  • Administers and maintains the database of survey data to ensure integrity and accuracy of data.
  • Ensures all compensation processes and resources are documented and kept up to date (SOPs, job title catalogue, salary survey documentation).
  • Provide key metrics and analysis to support recommendations on offers, job leveling, and internal equity adjustments.
  • Provide support for the global Employee Recognition and Years of Service program including investigating and responding to employee inquiries.
  • Ad hoc compensation analysis and reporting to support business requests.
  • Opportunities to support compensation projects that come up throughout the organization.

What It Takes

  • A minimum of 23 years' experience in a HR compensation related position, preferably in the software/hightech industry.
  • A combination of experience and/or postsecondary education in Human Resources or a relevant discipline.
  • Detailoriented and committed to a high degree of accuracy.
  • Ability to prioritize workload in a fastpaced environment.
  • Adept at building and fostering relationships effectively.
  • High level of discretion in dealing with confidential and sensitive information.
  • Experience with HR Information Systems such as Success Factors or Workday is an asset.

Work Location:

This position is based out of the Waterloo office and is currently a hybrid role with 3 days/week in the office.
