Position Summary:


Reporting to the Advisor of Asset Management, the Asset Management Technician will provide support in implementing the new Asset Management Information System (AMIS) within the City.


Responsibilities:

- include, but are not limited to:

  • Support the development of a centralized Asset Management Information System for the City.
  • Manage and maintain confidential information and files related to the asset management program.
  • Work with City departments and the Leadership Team to facilitate better management of assets.
  • Facilitate asset inventories and updates to asset inventories.
  • Audit system information to support departmental and organizational goals.
  • Assist in the delivery of training to staff, as required, in the performance of asset management and other reviews.
  • Assist with the preparation and maintenance of operational datasets to support asset management within the City.
  • Research data anomalies to ensure data integrity within the system.

Qualifications:

Hours of Work: 37.5 per week; Monday to Friday
