Position Summary:

Reporting to the Advisor of Asset Management, the Asset Management Technician will provide support in implementing the new Asset Management Information System (AMIS) within the City.

Responsibilities:

- include, but are not limited to:

Support the development of a centralized Asset Management Information System for the City.
Manage and maintain confidential information and files related to the asset management program.
Work with City departments and the Leadership Team to facilitate better management of assets.
Facilitate asset inventories and updates to asset inventories.
Audit system information to support departmental and organizational goals.
Assist in the delivery of training to staff, as required, in the performance of asset management and other reviews.
Assist with the preparation and maintenance of operational datasets to support asset management within the City.
Research data anomalies to ensure data integrity within the system.

Qualifications:

Hours of Work: 37.5 per week; Monday to Friday
