Responsibilities_

  • Responsible for preparing and cooking all food items by the recipe and to specification
  • Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food
  • Prepare, season, and cook a wide variety of meats, vegetables, soups and other food items using a full range of cooking methods
  • Able to organize the assigned work area and efficiently put away orders
  • Ensure that all products are stored properly in the correct location at the appropriate levels at all times
  • Responsible to maintain cleanliness, sanitation at the assigned work area

Professional Skills_

  • Knowledge of kitchen tools and utensils ability to operate standard kitchen equipment
  • Preparing Food _ _excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
  • Efficiency and speed __ ensure the objectives of the station are met properly while ensuring highquality food standards
  • Organization __ ensure the right tools, appliances and ingredients are ready anytime needed
  • Knowledge of health and safety code and protocol

These commissary kitchens are sometimes also known as ghost kitchens, shared kitchens or virtual kitchens with the delivery-only food brands operating within them called virtual restaurants.
