The role of the Personal Lines Team Lead is to provide oversight and support to the Personal Lines operations of StoneRidge Insurance Brokers, as directed by the executive management team.

The PL Team Lead will be primarily responsible for assisting the VP, Personal Lines with the implementation and monitoring of sales and service procedures throughout the organization.


  • Works closely with the VP, Personal Lines to establish goals and targets, develop protocols, workflows and resource materials, and identify areas for improved structure and efficiency.
  • Works with Branch Managers to identify areas of development opportunity with Personal Lines team members and facilitate needed training.
  • Conducts regular QA reviews for StoneRidge overall, and specific focused QA's to individual branches on a rotating basis. Shares feedback and guidelines for improved adherence to protocols.
  • Works with Managing Partners and Personal Lines Accounts Managers to achieve sales targets and promote ongoing growth.
  • Monitors PIF and Revenue retention with a target of 90%, and provides guidance at a branch and individual level to meet the target.
  • Works with company underwriters and business development representatives to promote the StoneRidge brand, build and maintain strong working relationships, and resolve customer and broker issues.
  • Collaborates with the VP of Personal Lines on development, launch, training, resources, adoption and support for new initiatives, protocols, tools and technology.
  • Oversees the StoneRidge Underwriting team, ensuring SLA's are consistently, provides direction, coaching, and performance management.
  • Researches and maintains industry knowledge; stays up to date with developing trends regarding carrier underwriting, portals, coverage and pricing changes, communicates with branches and individuals
  • Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.

3. Qualifications and Experience

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Postsecondary degree/diploma
  • Minimum 5 years experience as a licensed broker
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a Personal Lines Supervisory or Leadership role
  • CIP or CAIB designation completed or actively in progress
  • RIBO License active and in good standing

Salary:
$60,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
