    The Manager, Partner Marketing – Cobrand Partnerships is a contract position responsible for leading the day-to-day relationship management and delivery of marketing strategy and campaigns to meet business objectives for our financial partnerships. This will include the development, and execution of complex and multi-faceted acquisition and engagement campaigns, often requiring collaboration and teamwork within the wider Promotional Marketing and loyalty teams. The Manager, Partner Marketing must manage multiple priorities while navigating a complex, multi-stakeholder environment to deliver against objectives. There will be a constant mix of large, complex projects requiring integration within large teams as well as smaller ones that allow for autonomy and ownership. The position requires strong organizational & interpersonal skills, diligent attention to detail, as well as creative thinking and evaluation.

    Responsibilities:

    • Responsible for the day-to-day relationship with the financial partners and their marketing teams, including managing campaign planning, status reports and processing stakeholder reviews and approvals.
    • Heavily involved in the annual marketing planning strategy for bank partnerships to deliver on client marketing and business objectives and KPI's related to credit card acquisition and account management.
    • Develop and execute customer acquisition strategies across multiple paid, owned, earned, 1:1 and shared channels by our partner.
    • Ensure delivery of all communications for assigned portfolio. Responsible for managing the execution of the campaign, agency briefing, alignment of internal and external stakeholders and all related post campaign analytics requirements.
    • Demonstrate a strong understanding the partners business needs, including deep knowledge of the industry/environment and competitive landscape, with specific emphasis the Canadian and US cobrand market.
    • Proactively identify new growth opportunities and work collaboratively, internally and with our partners to optimize go-to-market plans.
    • Lead, from a marketing perspective, the relationship for the partner in collaboration with the Key Account Management team.
    • Lead internal process for campaign planning and execution to ensure lead time, resources, and channel support availability.
    • Leverage member, program, and market data to determine appropriate campaign offers, targeting strategy and communication mix.
    • Manage project budgets and administer finance processes.
    • Manage a team of two high-performing direct reports.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in a marketing or business-related field and/or equivalent work experience.
    • 5+ years of work experience in marketing, preferably with experience in the financial industry, loyalty, and customer lifecycle programs.
    • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • A well-developed influencer and negotiator with the ability to gain commitment and support for objectives from key partners, internally and externally, while developing relationships at both the working and senior management levels with partner organizations.
    • Strong experience in customer lifecycle management strategies and execution.
    • Good problem-solving skills and superior attention to detail.
    • Experience working with partners within collaborative and integrated marketing environments.
    • Proficiency in managing complex projects involving multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
    • Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
    • Strong data-driven thinking and analytical skills.
    • People management/leadership.
    • Thrives in a high-volume, agile, and fast-paced environment within a high-performance, results-oriented, passionate and fun-loving/travel-obsessed team.
