RESEARCH INSTITUTE OF THE MUHC
The Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (RI-MUHC) is a world-renowned biomedical and hospital research centre.

Located in Montreal, Quebec, the Institute is the research arm of the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine at McGill University.

The RI-MUHC is supported in part by the Fonds de recherche du Québec - Santé (FRQS).

Position summary

Plans, organizes, and conducts independent research upon approval of the principal investigator, designs, tests, and evaluates methods and protocol for research projects, analyzes, summarizes, and organizes collected data, together with the principal investigator, generally publishes results of investigations in professional journals.

General Duties

Assist in designing research studies, developing research protocols, and selecting appropriate methodologies,
Collect and analyze data, interpret research findings, and contribute to the development of research papers, reports, or publications.

Education / Experience

Education:
Doctorate Degree

At least 2 years' experience in research and/or a strong publication record,
Excellent interpersonal skills,
Ability to think strategically yet work with a focus on detail and efficiency,
Good electronic communications and time management,
Strong knowledge of computers, accessing and navigating webbased systems.

Other education considered an asset for this position:
Knowledge in cardiology.

Status:
Temporary Full-Time (35-hour workweek)

Pay Scale:
$52,998.40-$98,425.60 Commensurate with education & work experience
