**About Us (À propos de nous)**:
The Government of Alberta is committed to diverse and inclusive public service that reflects the population it serves to best meet the needs of Albertans. Consider joining a team where diversity, inclusion and innovation are valued and supported.

The Francophone Secretariat liaises with Alberta's Francophonie and coordinates the cross-government implementation of the French Policy. It also raises awareness of the long-standing and continuing contribution of Alberta's Francophonie to the social, cultural and economic development of Alberta. This is done by delivering awareness training sessions for members of the Alberta Public Service and supporting organizations, communities and individuals in the development of their capacity to participate in, and contribute to, government-sponsored initiatives promoting French language and cultures. Through extensive internal and external collaboration, the secretariat coordinates a cohesive and strategic approach to the ongoing development and enhancement of government services in French while also supporting other ministries in promoting Government of Alberta initiatives to French-speaking Albertans.
