    The Area Community Coordinator – Canada East is an execution‑focused role responsible for delivering community, marketing, and event initiatives across Ontario, Quebec, and the Atlantic provinces. Working under the guidance of the Senior Area Manager, Community – Canada, the Coordinator supports program and event execution by being present on‑site in communities. This role requires significant travel within priority markets in the Eastern area to support store teams, community hubs, and key activations. Priority markets include Toronto, Montreal and surrounding mountain towns.

    Core Activities

    • Piloter l'organisation d'événements, de programmes et de campagnes en lien avec la communauté en Ontario, en Québec et dans les provinces de l'Atlantique, sous la supervision du responsable de secteur et en collaboration avec le spécialiste communautaire.
    • Accompagner les équipes sur place pour les campagnes de marketing de terrain, les initiatives de marketing commercial, les événements régionaux commandités, l'ouverture de nouveaux magasins et les événements des Académies Arc'teryx de moyenne envergure.
    • Collaborer avec les équipes en magasin et les pôles des communautés afin de concrétiser les stratégies d'engagement de la communauté.
    • Coordonner la logistique sur place lors d'événements (installation, exécution, coordination des fournisseurs, clôture).
    • Incarner l'image de marque au niveau régional tout en veillant à la satisfaction et à l'engagement des membres de la communauté.
    • Compiler et analyser les résultats des événements, les données de participation et les indicateurs opérationnels pour en rendre compte au responsable de secteur et au spécialiste communautaire.
    • Assurer la cohérence des déploiements avec les normes nationales, tout en les adaptant aux attentes des communautés locales.
    • Voyager fréquemment à travers l'Ontario, le Québec et les provinces de l'Atlantique pour assurer le succès des campagnes et événements régionaux.

    Projects You Could Work On

    • Identifier et recruter des ambassadeurs régionaux et des leaders de communauté (salles d'escalade, groupes de course en sentier, clubs de ski de randonnée, etc.) qui partagent les valeurs d'Arc'teryx.
    • Élaborer un calendrier semestriel des activités animées par nos ambassadeurs (envoi de produits, création de contenu, intégration en magasin, etc.).
    • Participer au déploiement de plans d'ouverture de magasin et de campagne locale pour un nouveau point de vente ou une boutique éphémère.
    • Trouver des personnes (guides, moniteurs, athlètes) pour tester nos produits sur le terrain, créer du contenu et partager leurs retours d'expérience.
    • Organiser la logistique et créer des planifications inversées pour les événements des Académies Arc'teryx de moyenne envergure au niveau régional.
    • Prêter main‑forte aux équipes sur site lors des campagnes de marketing de terrain ou des initiatives des Académies Arc'teryx.

    • Vous êtes titulaire d'un baccalauréat en marketing, en administration des affaires, en gestion ou dans un domaine connexe.
    • Vous possédez au moins un an d'expérience dans l'organisation d'événements, l'animation de communautés, les campagnes marketing ou dans un domaine connexe.
    • Vous êtes très organisé·e et capable de piloter plusieurs projets simultanément.
    • Vous êtes pragmatique, proactif·ve et à l'aise avec la logistique et l'organisation d'événements.
    • Vous êtes capable de travailler sous pression dans un environnement dynamique en constante évolution.
    • Vous anticipez les problèmes en cherchant leur cause réelle et proposez des solutions concrètes.
    • Vous faites preuve d'une grande flexibilité et d'une excellente capacité d'adaptation dans les situations incertaines ou imprévues.
    • Vous possédez d'excellentes compétences interpersonnelles et en communication.
    • Vous êtes disponible pour de fréquents déplacements dans l'est du Canada, y compris les soirs et les fins de semaine.
    • Vous détenez un permis de conduire valide (obligatoire).
    • Vous partagez notre passion pour le plein air, le respect de l'environnement et la philosophie d'Arc'teryx.
    • You have a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Management or related fields.
    • You have 1+ years of experience in event execution, community engagement, marketing activations, or a related field.
    • You have strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple events and priorities.
    • You are hands‑on, proactive, and comfortable with logistics and event delivery.
    • You are able to work under pressure in a dynamic and changing environment.
    • You are proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutions.
    • You remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity.
    • You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
    • You have flexibility to travel extensively within Eastern Canada, including evenings and weekends.
    • You have a valid driver's license required.
    • You have a passion for the outdoors, sustainability, and the Arc'teryx ethos.

    Salary


    $58,000 - $73,000 a year (base pay only; does not include Arc'teryx's competitive bonus program and benefits).
