We are growing and your growth means our growth We are looking for a Auto Body Technician to take a reponsible role in our workshop.

As a Bodyshop Technician/Prepper, a typical day might include the following:

  • Surface preparation, vehicle masking, priming and top coating
  • Repairing general damage, including cracks and dents
  • Repair vehicles with a sense of urgency to avoid waste and rework
  • Perform quality repairs
  • Responsible for observing safety policies including wearing and using proper safety equipment
  • Responsible for maintaining a clean work environment
  • Perform all other duties as assigned
  • Routine inspections and maintenance.
  • Continuously expanding your knowledge for new technologies and practice.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety and environmental regulations, and with company policies and procedures; perform daily equipment inspections, as well as identify and assist in correcting unsafe conditions.

What you bring to the table:

  • You have a valid G driver's license.
  • 2 or more years of handson experience.
  • Computerproficient. Data entry.
  • Flexible with schedules, there are times where you would be oncall on weekends.
  • Ability to identify problems quickly.
  • Good attention to details.
  • Good knowledge of Trucks.
  • Effective analytical and communication skills.
  • Efficient reading skills.
  • Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications.
  • You pay attention to detail.
  • You ensure all work is completed accurately and with precision in a timely manner.
  • You are able to work in a fastpaced environment.
  • You demonstrate multitasking abilities while working under pressure.
  • You are selfmotivated and driven.
  • You volunteer for new challenges and responsibilities, all while maintaining high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm.

Salary:
$22.00-$30.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Morning shift
  • Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Etobicoke, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Education:


  • AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)

Experience:


  • Mechanical knowledge: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Class G Licence (preferred)

Shift availability:

  • Day Shift (preferred)

Willingness to travel:

  • 50% (preferred)
