Summary:

OLIMP Manufacturing, Inc. has an exciting opportunity for a CNC Milling Setup/Operator to join our team. We are a fast-paced precision machine shop specializing in complex turned and milled parts. A proven track record with leading North American automation and nuclear firms. We are hiring an experienced CNC Setup/Operator that is excited to learn and develop with our team. Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC Vertical Machining Centers to facilitate optimum production rates, maintain required tolerances, and maximize tool life and adhering to specifications.
• Expertise in setup for 5 axis Haas Milling Machine will be an asset.
• Read, analyze, and interpret blueprints, product drawings, technical requirements and customer specifications.
• Verify accuracy of finished machined parts using precise measuring instruments. (Micrometers, calipers, gauges, etc.)
• Responsible for loading parts, operating controls, setting offsets, simple edits, deburring and inspection of quality parts for conformance to requirements.
• Daily reporting to production manager.
• Will be required to comply with the company ISO Quality procedures, company policies and safety and environmental regulations.

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of machine shop process, including turning and milling.
• Problem solving with quality control reporting and root cause analysis.
• Ability to work independently in a fastpaced environment.
• Working with tight tolerances.
• Understanding of ISO 900
• Ability to communicate across team and continually improve processes.

Education/Experience:

• College Diploma/ CNC Certificate
• Minimum 3 years work related experience setting up and operating CNC machines in a manufacturing environment.
