Reporting to the Director of Business Technology, the Manager, Business Technology & Data is responsible for the leadership of the Business Application Support team and development of a new data analytics strategy and team to provide excellent support services to functional teams across the organization.

WHAT YOU GET TO DO:

Develop and implement an Electric data management and analytics strategy, governance and roadmap in alignment with corporate IT framework and platform
Build relationships and collaborate with various groups including Engineering, Operations, Projects & Construction, Customer Experience and Global IT
Collaborate with the Manager, Process Performance to optimize the business support model including request and incident management, outage communications, enhancement prioritization, etc.
Identify strategies to increase business value from IT assets and prepare business cases to justify required investments or changes
Monitor business metrics to ensure targets are met and identify trends and issues
Provide visible leadership to ensure compliance with corporate policies and best practices related to Health, Safety and Environment
Support annual business planning to proactively budget for required resources, tools and expenses to support the team, completes monthly forecasts and achieves financial targets

WHO YOU ARE:

Information Technology or Utilities Professional and Leader with post secondary degree or diploma in a related field
Minimum of ten (10) years of IT or Utilities experience, preferably with experience in providing operational support of IT systems
Experience and knowledge of Service Now or other IT service and knowledge management systems
Proven ability to manage and resolve conflict.
Strong interpersonal and relationship development skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong business knowledge in the utility & regulated environment is an asset
Proven leadership skills & ability to coach supervisors, professionals & inscope employees
Strong technical knowledge in information technology best practices and data management
Follows all policies and procedures.
Strong collaboration skills and ability to work with corporate IT department to provide multitiered IT support model
