Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Assembly Technician to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling components and products efficiently while maintaining high quality standards. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, utilizing mechanical skills and various hand and power tools to contribute to the production process. Prior warehouse or manufacturing experience is preferred, and familiarity with forklift operation is a plus. The Assembly Technician plays a vital role in ensuring that products are assembled accurately and safely, supporting the overall success of our operations.
Responsibilities
- Assemble products and components according to detailed specifications and blueprints
- Use hand tools, power tools, and other assembly equipment to complete tasks efficiently
- Operate forklifts safely to move materials within the warehouse or manufacturing floor
- Conduct quality checks throughout the assembly process to ensure product standards are met
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
- Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times during assembly activities
- Assist in inventory management by tracking parts and materials used during assembly
Skills
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Experience with assembly processes in manufacturing or warehouse environments
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for assembly tasks
- Forklift certification or experience operating forklifts is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately
