Responsibilities:


  • Analyze data insights to identify business trends and/or areas for opportunity and communicate identified issues with departmental leaders.
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure using AWS tools, specifically AWS Athena, AWS Glue, and AWS S3, with a strong emphasis on improving data integrity.
  • Implement data validation and quality checks to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data across different sources and throughout the data processing workflow.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to understand data requirements and design optimal solutions for data integrity and reliability.
  • Work independently to proactively identify datarelated problems, bottlenecks, and performance issues, and provide recommendations for improvement, particularly in terms of data quality and integrity.
  • Optimize data processing and storage techniques to ensure efficient and costeffective data management while maintaining high standards of data integrity.
  • Implement data governance practices to ensure data security, privacy, and compliance with relevant regulations, with a strong focus on maintaining data integrity.
  • Monitor data pipelines and perform troubleshooting and debugging as necessary, paying close attention to data integrity concerns.
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies and trends in data engineering, particularly in relation to data integrity and quality, and make recommendations for adopting new tools and techniques.

Skills & Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 2+ years of proven experience as a Data Engineer, working with largescale data infrastructure and pipelines.
  • Strong proficiency in AWS services, particularly AWS Athena, AWS Glue, and AWS S
  • Solid understanding of ETL processes and data integration techniques.
  • Experience working with diverse data sources and integrating data from various platforms, such as Salesforce, Zoho, and other systems.
  • Proficiency in SQL and scripting languages (e.g., Python) for data manipulation and transformation.
  • Familiarity with data modeling concepts and best practices.
  • Strong problemsolving skills and ability to work autonomously to identify and resolve datarelated issues.
