Flatbed Truck Dispatcher - Cambridge, Canada - JMJ & Sons Logistics LTD

Description

This is a full-time, permanent position. You must be able to work in person from the office located in Cambridge, ON.


ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Utilize various transportation provider software systems, to facilitate transportation planning and scheduling.
• Track shipments from pickup through delivery so that accurate, uptodate information can be provided regarding any shipment, and update on transportation system.
• Coordinate product delivery schedules with customers.
• Organizes and maintains hard copy and electronic documentation supporting order fulfillment, pricing, and contractual obligations.
• Prepares proper paperwork for billing and authorization of various invoice processes.
• Active involvement with problemsolving of issues presented.
• Clearing shipments (ACE/ACI)

REQUIREMENTS

• 3 years of previous experience in the Transportation/Logistics field
• Strong computer proficiency, especially with MS Outlook
• Ability to cope with pressure/stress, and work efficiently in a fast pace/highvolume environment.
• Highly organized and detailoriented
