Job Description:

Under the guidance of the Manager, Student Financial Support, the incumbent is responsible for making suggestions to the Manager for process review in the administration of Federal/Provincial student loans, grants and institutional funds by delivering financial assistance to full-time and part-time student clients.

Required Qualifications- Two (2)

Year Diploma or equivalent in Business Administration, International Business or similar areas of study;- Minimum of (5) five years working in a customer/client service or a student service area of a post-secondary institution in more progressive and more responsible positions;- Must have demonstrated experience dealing with multi-cultural students;- Must also have demonstrated experience in highly charged or highly emotional conflict resolution areas;- Have strong computer skills; plus demonstrate capability and experience re:
strong attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications- Experience with policies and document review and evaluation;- Prior experience in a Financial Aid Office of a post-secondary institution is highly desirable.
