About this opportunity
This position will be located in Vaughan, bordering Peel and Etobicoke ON.
Reporting to the Production Coordinator, the Production Associate will be responsible for

What you will do

  • Work as a member of a team assisting print operators in the daily operation of the printing press and related equipment
  • Participate in projects to improve business results, 5S and other continuous improvement initiatives
  • Support and contribute to a healthy and safe work environment by following all workplace regulations, policies, and initiatives, including reporting all first aid injuries, accidents, and workplace hazards
  • Maintain organized work area according to policies, procedures, and safety regulations
  • Overtime, in order to meet our customers' needs as required

  • Demonstrated problemsolving skills and technical knowledge
  • High initiative and ability to work with low supervision
  • Able to work well in a team environment
  • Ability to work 12hour day shifts
  • Proficiency in basic operation of a computer
  • Lifting, walking and standing are part of the job
  • Exceptional attention to detail and good command of the English language (read, write, speak) with respect to:
  • understanding and following all verbal and written instructions
- completing paperwork and requisitioning of materials accurately and efficiently
- complying with safety procedures and processes

  • Proven organizational skills with a commitment to quality and safety
