Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and adherence to all transportation regulations.
Responsibilities
- Operate and drive trucks to transport goods to designated locations.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling of materials.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel use, and delivery times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and warehouse staff to coordinate deliveries.
- Provide exceptional customer service during interactions with clients at delivery locations.
- Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including moving products and heavy lifting.
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid CDL license.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and customers.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks.
- Experience operating forklifts is a plus.
- Background in warehouse operations is beneficial.
- Excellent customer service skills to enhance client satisfaction.
