Communications Business Partner (Contract)

We are looking for an experienced
Communications Business Partner, Contract to support and manage global communications for designated Global Business Units.

You will contribute to building and safeguarding DLL's brand in the industries it serves and increase internal awareness of Global Business Unit updates, projects, successes and more.


This role is a maternity coverage contract position for a minimum of 12 months.

Day to Day

  • Serve as a trusted communications advisor to senior business leaders and their management teams.
  • Partner with Global Business Unit marketing teams to understand designated business line strategies and define strategic communications plans in support of business goals and priorities.
  • Develop and execute strategic thought leadership content to enhance public image of senior leaders, Global Business Units and the organization as a whole.
  • Establish relationships with members of the media, pitch relevant stories, and monitor media coverage.
  • Create tailored communications materials for a variety of audiences, including but not limited to press releases, bylined articles, blogs, webinars, customer stories and social media posts.
  • Support internal communications activities for designated business lines focused on informing our people and empowering them to reach personal and business goals.
  • Ensure that brand values and visual identity are incorporated into communications deliverables.
  • Regularly monitor and report on the results of communications plans.
  • Support regional and global corporate communications initiatives as needed.

Essentials

  • 7+ years public relations and communications experience, prior B2B and/or finance experience preferred
  • Ability to independently and effectively counsel stakeholder clients
  • Strategic approach with a focus on the 'bigger picture' taking separate projects and developing a narrative that connects them
  • Outstanding writing, storytelling and editing skills
  • Ability to juggle multiple, high priority projects simultaneously and rebalance priorities as needed
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to facilitate collaboration and teamwork between colleagues across the organization
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint presentation development capabilities
  • Videography and editing experience a plus
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Applicable Pay Range
$83, $124,618.6- The selection process may involve an assessment.
