Thuro Mechanical Inc is a local plumbing and heating company. We pride ourselves on promoting a positive, team-oriented work environment. We are looking for a full time Office Assistant/Receptionist to join our team


Duties:


  • Greeting and assisting clients in a polite and professional manner
  • Answering phones in a professional and timely manner
  • Scheduling plumbing and heating appointments with clients
  • Ensure that all files and information for clients are accurately in the system
  • Completing payment transactions with customers by credit card and cheque
  • Filing and maintaining company files and documents
  • Completing daily tasks and duties as instructed by management
  • Sending invoices to clients with assigned PO numbers
  • Handling monthly accounts payable duties
  • Accounts receivable management and ensuring customer accounts are paid up to date, collecting overdue payments.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a receptionist/office assistant role
  • Previous knowledge of Quickbooks Online is preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Ability to work in a fast pace environment
- document creation and proofreading skills with high level of proficiency related to business correspondence/communications
