- Observe and follow all safety requirements at the jobsite.
- Implementation of Quality requirements in accordance with company procedures, regulatory and contract requirements.
- Interfacing with all other areas/disciplines on the job. Work closely with Project team and keep the Project team up to date.
- Shall be capable of planning inspections and tests, reviewing procedures, and evaluating the adequacy of activities to accomplish project objectives.
- Develop and implement site specific Inspection and Test Plans.
- Performing and documenting Quality inspections such as visual inspection of welds, bolt torqueing, and other dimensional/mechanical inspections required by the Inspection and Test Plan in an organized manner. Ensuring Weld Map and other QC records are kept up to date.
- Performing material receiving inspections, witnessing, and documenting hydrotesting.
- Ensure Welder Performance Qualification are current, ensuring Electrode Control is per Manufacturer recommendation.
- Support site audits as needed.
- Monitor subcontractor work including coordination with NDE Subcontractor for MT/PT and UT/Radiography.
- Witnessing and documenting all inspections and tests associate with painting and coating activities at site.
- Liaise with client project and quality personnel, for inspections and tests.
- Prepare nonconformance reports and assist in closure.
- Preparation of Turnover documents to client.
- Maintain Calibration of equipment.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Qualification:
- Knowledgeable in API, ASME, ASTM & CSA Codes & Standards.
- Ability to read and interpret WPS/PQR per Sec IX of the ASME BPV Code.
- CWB Certified Welding Inspector
- CSA W178.2 Level
- Basic computer knowledge of Excel/Word and Microsoft Outlook.

Experience in Pressure boundary - ASME B 31.3 process piping. or other similar ASME Codes - Process Piping & Power Piping.
- 5 year(s): At least 5 years of experience in Quality Control and Welding/Coating inspections.
