    JOB DESCRIPTION

    FINANCE INTERN - PLANO, TX (SUMMER )

    We are looking for a college student with strong analytical skills to contribute immediately to our finance team in North America. This is a hands-on role that is expected to serve as a Finance Business Partner supporting the different business areas in the regular business course, specific projects, or any ad-hoc requests. The role requires a good understanding of the overall business around the different BRP brands, allowing for meaningful recommendations at the time of planning all wholesale and retail sales incentives.

    YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

    ·Contribute to the finance team, supporting on sales program's costing initiatives, and variation analysis versus prior forecast.

    ·Support with monthly account analysis and reconciliation to secure necessary provisions for sales programs.

    ·Analyze actual data in relation to wholesale and retail programs and contribute with insightful finance related information.

    ·Identity and act on opportunities to automate and improve processes as well as analytical tools

    YOU'LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:

    Required:

    ·A college senior level student currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting program graduating in Winter or Spring , with a 3.0 GPA or higher

    ·Advanced Excel knowledge

    ·Must have the following knowledge: Direct margin calculations and percentages, statistics, data analytics, basic accounting knowledge, profit & loss statement reading as well as financial planning & analysis.

    ·Effective written and verbal communication skills

    Preferred:

    ·Self-starter with a demonstrated track record of taking initiative

    ·PowerPivot and PowerQuery

    This is a summer Internship (June – August and could possibly be longer). This role will be in-office 3x per week and requires the ability to work at least 32 hours per week.
