Key Responsibilities:

Produce digital news stories for Noovo Info accounts
React quickly to breaking news and important stories, collaborating to produce content for Noovo Info accounts
Propose and develop original topics for coverage; strong ability to move beyond the news
Present news stories on television and digital platforms, in both video and written formats
Shoot, edit and produce news stories
Collaborate on managing Noovo Info's social media and digital content
Follow editorial standards and guidelines for accuracy, ethics, and legal issues
Perform other assigned tasks

Critical Qualifications:

Proven experience in news reporting and ability to produce content on tight deadlines
Ability to shoot and edit video news stories
Strong writing, storytelling, and knowledge of local, national, and international news and current events
Good oncamera presence
Indepth knowledge of social media, codes used, and best practices
Understanding of digital performance data and ability to draw useful conclusions
Proven organizational skills and ability to work independently under tight deadlines
Good editorial judgment and demonstrated ability to produce original news stories
Ability to adapt to new and emerging technologies
Knowledge of iNews and AEM is an asset
Knowledge of Photoshop is highly recommended
