The Retail Operations team is seeking a dynamic and proactive Retail Operations Specialist Reporting to the Senior Manager of Retail Operations, you'll be instrumental in optimizing our retail processes and ensuring operational excellence across all stores.

The Opportunity:


  • Partners crossfunctionally (Product, CX, Merchandising teams) to expertly create product specific Training and Resources to increase product knowledge resulting in a consistent fitting experience
  • Regularly reviewing sellthrough (in partnership with the Visual Merchandising Manager) as it relates to Visual Merchandising and product initiatives to provide meaningful feedback and insight to make recommendations that support overall sales.
  • Conduct training sessions for store staff, focusing on product knowledge, customer service, and store policies and procedures.
  • Owns and is the expert on Retail POS systems & tools: creates and delivers relevant training and is an advocate for continuing to digitize and optimize our retail processes and systems. Works crossfunctionally with the technology teams at Knix to ensure excellence and retail integration with the broader business.
  • Responsible for executing New Store Opening operations with direction from Sr. Manager, Retail Operations to ensure a timely opening; (onsite signage, visual merchandising execution, setting up POS, coordinating product allocations and inventory)
  • Provides weekly sales reporting to drive information sharing and decision making for the District Managers and Sr Manager of Retail Operations.
  • Ensure that inventory levels are optimized, and stock is available to meet customer demand while avoiding overstock. Utilizing inventory management software (NetSuite) to track inventory accuracy, monitor instock position & all relevant functions & reporting to support.
  • In response to changing initiatives and processes within the retail function, adapts and shares information on new processes to the broader retail team to ensure overall alignment and operational excellence
  • Continuously gather and analyze customer feedback to make necessary improvements to the store's operations and customer experience.
  • Ensure that the store complies with all local and national regulations, including obtaining necessary permits and licenses.

Qualifications:


  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience as a Retail Operations Specialist or similar Retail Operations role in a fastpaced, highgrowth environment.
  • The ability to problem solve and exercise appropriate decisionmaking to produce optimal results
  • Business acumen balanced with a bias for action when managing tasks and/or priorities of varying complexity
  • Previous experience with Shopify POS & Netsuite systems is considered an asset
  • Ability to conduct analysis to evaluate inventory performance, identify areas for improvement, and make datadriven decisions to optimize inventory management processes.
  • Experience in supporting store openings with a combination of project management skills, retail expertise, and a strong ability to coordinate teams & resources effectively.
