    Description

    EverGen Infrastructure Corp. ("EverGen") is a British Columbia based company focused on establishing a renewable natural gas infrastructure platform across Canada. Since incorporation in May 2020, EverGen has executed its strategy of acquiring, developing, owning, operating, and consolidating a portfolio of compost, renewable natural gas, waste-to-energy, and related sustainable infrastructure projects in Canada and other regions of North America.

    EverGen currently owns and operates two renewable natural gas ("RNG") production facilities, Fraser Valley Biogas, located in Abbotsford, British Columbia, and Grow the Energy Circle Ltd. ("GrowTEC"), located in Lethbridge, Alberta, and owns and operates two composting facilities, Pacific Coast Renewables, located in Abbotsford, British Columbia, and Sea to Sky Soils, located in Pemberton, British Columbia.

    We are looking for a Facilities Engineer to support the continuous improvement of our Anaerobic Digestion and Composting Facilities. You will be responsible for providing technical support to facility personnel to ensure safe, environmentally responsible, cost optimized operations.

    Facilities Engineer Responsibilities:

    · Managing engineering drawings, technical documents, and reports

    · Gathering and analyzing operations data and reports.

    · Evaluating operational systems and facility infrastructure to ascertain and improve operational efficiencies.

    · Planning infrastructure and equipment maintenance schedules and activities.

    · Coordinating and overseeing contractors performing maintenance activities.

    · Preparing technical reports and compliance documentation.

    · Developing and maintaining process descriptions, SOP's, and training modules.

    · Administering the continuous improvement and management of change processes.

    · Facilitating HAZOP revalidations.

    · Conducting facility, workplace inspections, Job Hazard Analyses, and Pre-Startup Safety Reviews (PSSR).

    · Evaluating proposed projects and preparing cost estimates, justification, and execution schedules.

    · Leading and overseeing layout and process design activities for green field, expansion, and improvement projects.

    · Overseeing project execution including management of quality assurance and quality control activities to ensure compliance with relevant regulations, building codes, health and safety standards and company specifications.

    Facilities Engineer Requirements & Qualifications:

    The ideal candidate would be a seasoned Plant or Facilities Engineer with a track record of improving and optimizing process operations by identifying and implementing standard operating procedures improvements and justifying and managing process and infrastructure optimization projects. Applicants background should include:

    • Registration as a professional engineer (P.Eng.) in BC, or eligibility for registration is required.
    • A bachelor's degree in chemical, mechanical or electrical or engineering.
    • At least 5 years experience as a plant of facilities engineer or in a similar role.
    • Working knowledge of regulations, codes, and standards.
    • Good verbal and written communication skills.
    • Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
    • Project management skills.
