HR IMPROVEMENT SPECIALIST

Gulf Operators is currently hiring for a
HR Coordinator located in
Saint John, N.B to work as part of our Human Resources Team.


Qualifications:


  • Postsecondary education degree completion
  • Selfstarter with sense of urgency, strong analytical skills & curiosity for data
  • Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail
  • Ability to use time effectively and prioritize tasks
  • Ability to quickly learn new systems and previous Microsoft Office experience
  • Enjoy working in a fast paced, multi deadline, teamoriented environment
  • Experience with HR technologies will be considered an asset

Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead talent acquisition initiatives at the site level such as day to day recruitment, job fairs, student events & community events
  • HR data management; audit and ensure data integrity of employee records across the division including training, benefits, education, attendance, onboarding tasks, performance management, manage discrepancy reporting, talent review documents, (foreign worker / work permit reporting) etc.
  • Work with the site HR business partners on various HR projects and initiatives
  • Lead HR analytics and reporting for the specific business unit including metrics and scorecards, dashboard management and development and drive the adoption and use of HR technology (HRIS, employee engagement, recognition, learning platforms, etc.)
  • Assist with the administration of tracking training, performance evaluations and other administrative duties that arise, while continuously looking for ways to automate, standardize and/or improve these tasks
  • Coordinate administration and reporting of recognition and service awards, wellness reimbursements, engagement surveys and other HR activities
