You as a Superintendent will:
- Provide overall construction management, including design, budget and schedule, in conjunction with the Project Manager, Owners, Engineers and Architects to ensure the project is delivered on time and within budget on large complex projects.
- Lead project meetings with internal and external parties to monitor and support the team's ongoing progression.
- Mentor project team members to ensure career growth and development.
- Advise senior management of potential problems, work interferences and schedule difficulties while assisting in resolving conflicts.
- Be jointly responsible to monitor, interpret and forecast a project's cost reports ensuring they are in line with the estimate and maintain a positive cash flow
Is this the right role for you?
- Journeyman certificate or postsecondary diploma/engineering degree in a related discipline.
- Enrollment in the Gold Seal program (CDN) preferred.
- Process mechanical experience.
- You have an advanced knowledge of various construction disciplines, safety regulations, scheduling, cost control, quality control and engineering drawings.
- You have the ability to quickly identify problem situations, evaluate alternative causes, produce workable solutions and lead a large team to successful completion.
- Experience in bridges and waste water treatment plant is required.
- Successfully supervised a construction workforce.
- Indepth knowledge of and experience in construction industry and company operations, including building materials, construction specifications, and methods and procedures.
- Ability to coordinate multiple scopes of a construction project, including scheduling, monitoring, and coordinating own forces work and trade contractors with threeweek lookahead schedules.
- Thorough understanding of productivity rates or own forces work, Labor Cost Reports, and ability to interpret cost reports.
- Ability to complete material, labor, and equipment takeoffs.
- Thorough understanding of contract language and with the ability to identify and mitigate risks, and identify and leverage opportunities.
- Understanding of collective agreement and jurisdiction assignment for multitrade sites.
- Ability to lead and run effective site meetings with the client, consultants, trades, own forces work, and internal employees; ability to present at client meetings or for project pursuit work.
- Demonstrated conflictresolution skills, problemsolving abilities, and professional judgment.
- Ability to develop and maintain effective stakeholder relationships.
- Knowledge of virtual construction software and tools.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office preferred.

$90,000.00-$150,000.00 per year
